The work here represents an ongoing study of the environment and ecology of the American southwest. The intent is to force a deeper connection and understanding of the land and species of plants unique to the Sonoran and Chihuahuan deserts. I've been working towards creating images that are more fragmented and abstract, much in the same way that is reminiscent of life and its anomalies. This is realized through the dismantling and reconstruction of polaroid film.
