Cascadia Coast Exposures is a series of photographic field notes and handmade objects created on the Oregon Coast that record marine life through direct sunlight exposures, specimen collection, and layered forms of observation. This body of work reflects a shift from my home waters in Southern California, where regular access to the ocean through freediving shapes my practice, to the Oregon Coast, where weather, distance, and conditions required a slower, more episodic relationship with the sea.
